Breaking News: Flames Recall 3 Stars From Wranglers

The Calgary Flames have made several roster moves, recalling forwards Jakob Pelletier, Kevin Rooney, and Cole Schwindt from the American Hockey League’s Calgary Wranglers. This decision comes as part of the team’s strategy to bolster its lineup.

Jakob Pelletier, recovering from shoulder surgery, showcased his skills in four games with the Wranglers, accumulating three points. In the previous season, the winger contributed seven points in 24 games for the Flames.

Kevin Rooney, who also recovered from shoulder surgery, played four games with the Wranglers and had a 17-game stint with the Flames in the 2022-23 season.

Cole Schwindt, after making his Flames debut on Jan. 23 and playing three games prior to the all-star break, has been a consistent performer with 20 points in 40 games for the Wranglers.

In a related update, forward A.J. Greer has been placed on Injury Reserve, indicating his temporary absence from the active roster due to injury.
