Breaking News: “I Don’t Know What They Talking About” LSU Star Gives Honest Admission
LSU running back Trey Holly refuted any involvement in a shooting incident following his arrest on three serious charges, including attempted second-degree murder.
In a social media post on Saturday night, Holly asserted his innocence, stating that he had been wrongly accused and arrested. He emphasized that such behavior is not reflective of his character and that he had no part in the incident.
Holly, along with two others, was apprehended in connection to a shooting that occurred on February 9th at the Union Villa Apartments in Farmerville. Officials reported that two individuals sustained gunshot injuries, but they are expected to recover.
The charges against Holly include attempted second-degree murder, illegal use of a weapon on a public roadway, and aggravated criminal damage to property. He voluntarily surrendered himself and was detained at the Union Parish Detention Center on a bond of $512,000.
According to one of Holly’s attorneys, Kelvin Rodgers, Holly vehemently denies all allegations against him.
Holly clarified that he was at home during the time of the incident and turned himself in upon learning of the arrest warrant, expressing his willingness to cooperate fully. However, due to the ongoing investigation, he refrained from providing extensive details.
The Union Parish Sheriff’s Office, leading the investigation, determined that multiple individuals fired shots, with the altercation originating from previous conflicts at a nearby apartment complex.
Another individual, Jordan Jones, and an unnamed juvenile male were also charged in connection to the incident.
LSU suspended Holly indefinitely following his arrest. Despite his current situation, Holly expressed gratitude to his supporters and vowed to return stronger, aiming to demonstrate his innocence.
