BREAKING NEWS: LSU Running Back Breaks Silence On Attempted Murder Arrest By Declaring Innocence
Trey Holly has vehemently asserted his innocence, stating that he is “100% innocent” in response to recent allegations. The former LSU running back, once a promising prospect in the Class of 2023, finds himself embroiled in a legal battle following his arrest.
Holly, who was poised to compete for a more prominent role in his sophomore season with the Tigers, is currently under indefinite suspension by the university following his arrest. The charges against him stem from a shooting incident at an apartment complex in his hometown on February 9th.
Facing three felony charges, including attempted second-degree murder, aggravated criminal damage to property, and illegal use of a weapon, Holly turned himself in to authorities and was taken into custody. The incident resulted in injuries to a woman shot in the back and a man shot in the leg. Two other individuals were also arrested in connection with the incident, with the investigation ongoing.
As you guys know I was recently arrested on 3 felony charges. I have been falsely identified, accused, and arrested. I am 100% innocent and the people that know me know this is not my character at all. I was not involved in the incident at all. I was at home which is where the incident took place. I turned myself in because I was notified of an arrest warranted and I wanted to fully cooperate. Due to this being an ongoing investigation I cannot give many details.
