DONE DEAL: Rams Confirmed The Signing Of Another Star Man To Boost The Team
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Rams are bringing on Dave Ragone, the former offensive coordinator for the Falcons, to serve as their quarterbacks coach. This announcement closely follows the Rams’ recent appointment of Nate Scheelhaase, previously the offensive coordinator at Iowa State, as their specialist for the passing game.
Ragone has dedicated the last three seasons to his role in Atlanta. Beginning his coaching journey in the NFL with the Titans back in 2011, Ragone transitioned from coaching receivers to quarterbacks in 2013. His coaching career includes stints as a quality control coach with the Commanders in 2015, quarterbacks coach with the Bears from 2016 to 2019, and pass game coordinator with the Bears in 2020 before joining the Falcons.
Interestingly, Zac Robinson, who is now the offensive coordinator for the Falcons, held the positions of pass game coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the Rams last season.
