The coach of the New Orleans Saints made a confident statement regarding Klint Kubiak and his offensive strategy. Following the departure of Pete Carmichael, the Saints recently reached an agreement with Kubiak to serve as their new offensive coordinator.

Head coach Dennis Allen elaborated today on why he believes Kubiak is the ideal candidate to lead the Saints’ offense, as reported by Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football:
“Dennis Allen, speaking to @JamesPalmerTV and @wyche89, expressed his confidence in Klint Kubiak: ‘I firmly believed that Klint Kubiak was the right choice.’ ‘I’ve been familiar with this system for quite some time. I consider it to be the most effective system in the NFL at the moment.'”

Before joining the Saints, Kubiak served as the passing coordinator for the San Francisco 49ers in the previous season.

Despite falling short of a Super Bowl victory last Sunday, Kubiak is now presented with a significant opportunity to rejuvenate the Saints and elevate his coaching credentials. The former offensive coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings will be entrusted with maximizing the potential of a New Orleans offense that underperformed in 2023.

Kubiak, whose father is the Super Bowl-winning head coach Gary Kubiak, brings his expertise from the 49ers’ offensive setup to the Saints. He joined the team ahead of last season, contributing to the progress of Pro Bowl quarterback Brock Purdy.
Additionally, the Saints recently hired Andrew Janocko to assist in coaching the quarterbacks. Janocko has previously worked with Kirk Cousins in Minnesota and Justin Fields with the Chicago Bears. His next major quarterback project will be Derek Carr.

With any luck, Kubiak and Janocko will be able to unleash Carr’s potential and extract more from the New Orleans offense than what was witnessed by Saints fans last season.
