BREAKING NEWS: Canadiens To Make Coaching Changes At The End Of The Season
Martin St. Louis’s position is secure, although there may be some adjustments to the assistant coaching staff. Since St. Louis assumed the role of head coach two years ago, only one alteration has been made to the Canadiens’ coaching lineup.
This change occurred when Luke Richardson departed Montreal after the 2021-22 season to assume the head coaching position for the Chicago Blackhawks. He was subsequently replaced by Stéphane Robidas.
Assistant coaches Trevor Letowski, Alex Burrows, and goalie coach Éric Raymond have remained with the team since Dominique Ducharme served as head coach.
Will there be modifications to the coaching staff behind the Canadiens’ bench ahead of the next season? This question is explored in a HI/O Show Bonus episode featuring host Jessica Rusnak from CBC DayBreak, Gazette columnist Stu Cowan, former Canadiens defenseman and assistant coach Rick Green, and hockey analyst Andrew Berkshire. Viewers are encouraged to share their thoughts in the comments section below, where they can also submit questions for the panel to address in future HI/O Show Bonus episodes.
