He indicated that Barkley has been actively communicating with key players, including CJ Stroud, expressing a genuine desire to join the Texans. While there seems to be mutual interest, both parties are reportedly exploring their options regarding the running back position.
Although the Giants retain the option to apply the franchise tag on Barkley for a second consecutive year, it appears increasingly likely that they will allow him to explore opportunities in the open market next month.
