Throughout his career in the AHL spanning 116 games, Mackey has recorded 10 goals, 53 assists, amassing 63 points, and garnering 178 penalty minutes. In his NHL tenure of 40 games with the Rangers, Calgary Flames, and Arizona Coyotes, he has contributed four goals, seven assists, accumulating 11 points, and 75 penalty minutes.
Prior to joining the Flames organization in 2020, Mackey spent three seasons playing collegiate hockey at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Meanwhile, the Rangers have emerged as one of the NHL’s top-performing teams, being the first to hit the 40-win milestone.
Presently leading the Metropolitan Division with a 40-17-3 record, totaling 83 points, they seem poised to secure home-ice advantage for the majority of the postseason, holding a five-point lead in the division with 20 games remaining and trailing the Florida Panthers by just one point for first place in the Eastern Conference.
