Dodgers Announce Series of Roster Moves, Option Players Including Andy Pages
The Dodgers implemented a series of roster adjustments on Sunday, involving the optioning of several players and re-assigning others to the minor league camp. Notably, outfielder Andy Pages, who has shown promise during Spring Training, was among those optioned. While Pages wasn’t expected to secure a spot on the major league roster this season, sending him down now allows for flexibility. He stands as a prime candidate for a call-up should he maintain his strong performance.
In addition to Pages, right-handers Landon Knack, Ricky Vanasco, and Nick Frasso were also optioned. Frasso, in particular, is unlikely to see action this season due to ongoing recovery from surgery. Catchers Diego Cartaya and Hunter Feduccia were also included in the list of optioned players.
The Dodgers have optioned RHPs Landon Knack, Ricky Vanasco and Nick Frasso, catchers Hunter Feduccia and Diego Cartaya and OF Andy Pages, and re-assigned LHP Stephen Gonsalves, RHPs Jesse Hahn, Michael Petersen and Eduardo Salazar and OF Travis Swaggerty to minor league camp.

Further roster adjustments involved the re-assignment of left-hander Stephen Gonsalves, right-handers Jesse Hahn, Michael Petersen, and Eduardo Salazar to the minor-league camp. Outfielder Travis Swaggerty was also among those sent to the minor league camp.
These moves represent one of the initial significant roster shifts for the Dodgers this season, as they streamline their lineup in preparation for the upcoming campaign. With just a few weeks remaining until their opening series against the San Diego Padres in Korea, the Dodgers are focused on solidifying their roster.
