The Steelers have inked a two-year deal with defensive tackle Montravius Adams, who has primarily been with them for the past three seasons since joining from the New Orleans Saints practice squad in 2021.

During his tenure with the Steelers, Adams has participated in 35 games, starting in 20 of them. In the 2023 season, he appeared in 13 games, with eight starts, accumulating 24 tackles, 11 of which were solo efforts, along with two tackles for loss and a pass deflection.

In the previous year, 2022, Adams played in all 17 games, starting nine, and registered 26 tackles, 12 of them solo, with an additional tackle for loss. His 2021 season saw him contribute eight tackles, including one for a loss, and three quarterback hits, split between his time with the Saints and the Steelers.

Originally drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft, Adams spent four seasons with them before briefly joining the New England Patriots in 2021.

Across his career, Adams has appeared in 85 games, starting 24, amassing 109 tackles, 52 of them solo, and one and a half sacks.
