LATEST UPDATE: Patrick Mahomes reveals what he and Travis Kelce’s swanky steakhouse will really be like – and the prices
Kansas City Chiefs’ star players Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are embarking on a new venture by opening their own steakhouse, Prime 1587, in Kansas City, in partnership with hospitality group Noble 33. Despite their glitzy lifestyles as reigning NFL champions, Mahomes and Kelce aim to keep their steakhouse accessible to all fans and beyond.
During a press conference at the NFL’s 101 Awards in Kansas City, Mahomes shared their vision for Prime 1587, emphasizing their desire to create a welcoming space where everyone can enjoy dining without breaking the bank. The steakhouse, set to open in early 2025, will offer a spacious 10,000 square-foot area across two floors, featuring private dining rooms and a menu inspired by their football careers.
Kelce expressed excitement about the partnership with Noble 33 and the opportunity to create a unique dining experience in their hometown of Kansas City. The duo joins a lineage of athletes who have ventured into the restaurant business, including David Beckham, John Elway, Lewis Hamilton, Peyton Manning, and Andy Murray.
In the realm of celebrity hospitality ventures, notable figures like Robert De Niro, Michael Imperioli, Pete Davidson, Nicholas Braun, Bad Bunny, Blake Shelton, and Olivia Culpo have also launched their own successful ventures, reflecting a trend of public figures diversifying into the culinary world.
