BREAKING: Rangers Confirms Another Contract agreement with Top Star

New York Rangers President and General Manager Chris Drury has announced that the team has reached an agreement with defenseman Victor Mancini on a two-year entry-level contract.

Mancini, originally selected No. 159 overall by the Rangers in the 2022 NHL Draft, has shown promise in his recent performance. Drafted in the fourth round of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft, Vaisanen spent the 2023-24 regular season with TPS of Finland’s Liiga, tallying nine goals and five assists for a total of 14 points in 58 regular-season games. Additionally, he contributed four points in nine playoff games.

During his tenure with TPS over three seasons, Mancini accumulated a total of 14 goals and 10 assists, amounting to 24 points across 137 games. He also showcased his talent with TPS’ under-20 team, scoring 17 goals and 33 assists for a combined 50 points in 45 games.

Standing at 6-foot-4, Mancini has represented Finland in various World Junior Championships, earning recognition as a top-3 player on the team in 2023 and contributing to Finland’s silver medal win in 2022.

Currently, the New York Rangers hold an impressive record of 50-21-4 with 104 points, placing them atop the Metropolitan Division and ranking as the No. 1 team in the league in terms of points.

Their upcoming schedule includes a home game against the New Jersey Devils on Wednesday, followed by an away match against the Detroit Red Wings in Michigan. The week concludes with a Sunday game at home against the Montreal Canadiens.

Artemi Panarin leads the team in scoring with an impressive 108 points, comprising 44 goals and 64 assists, with Vincent Trocheck following with 75 points, including 25 goals and 50 assists.
