LSU Football: LSU Approves Extensions for two key recruiting trail to remain in Baton Rouge
LSU has secured the futures of two indispensable members of Brian Kelly’s coaching ensemble, with Frank Wilson and Brad Davis both signing extensions to stay in Baton Rouge. The university greenlit the contracts, ensuring the services of these Louisiana natives through the 2026 season.
Under the revised agreements, both Wilson and Davis will see substantial increases in compensation. Davis is set to earn an average of $940,000 annually over the next three years, while Wilson’s salary will start at $1 million per year and escalate to $1.2 million in the final year.
Wilson’s prowess on the recruiting front has been instrumental in LSU’s recent successes, highlighted by his recent coup in securing the commitment of top-ranked running back Harlem Berry. His track record on the recruiting trail, coupled with his role as the Associate Head Coach and running backs coach, warranted the salary boost.
Davis, on the other hand, has solidified his reputation as one of the nation’s premier offensive line coaches since joining LSU during the Ed Orgeron era. His adept leadership has transformed the Tigers’ offensive line into a formidable force, evident in consecutive top recruiting classes.
