The Steelers inked a one-year deal with wide receiver Scotty Miller this Wednesday. Over his five-year career, Miller has participated in 67 games, making eight starts. His stats include 85 catches for 1,085 yards, averaging 12.8 yards per reception, and six touchdowns. Additionally, he’s rushed the ball eight times for 81 yards, averaging 10.1 yards per carry, and scored one touchdown.

In the 2023 season, Miller played for the Atlanta Falcons, where he worked under Steelers offensive coordinator Arthur Smith. During his time there, he appeared in 17 games, securing 11 receptions for 161 yards, averaging 14.6 yards per catch, and scoring two touchdowns.

Originally selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft as the 208th overall pick, Miller spent his first four seasons with the Buccaneers.

During this tenure, he played in 50 games, tallying 74 receptions for 924 yards and four touchdowns.

Miller’s college career at Bowling Green State University saw him in action for 45 games, starting 34. He accumulated 215 receptions for 2,868 yards and 23 touchdowns. Throughout his college years, he earned accolades such as first-team All-MAC honors as a sophomore, second-team honors as a senior, and third-team honors as a junior.
