BREAKING NEWS: Four key Sooners Selected in Athletes Unlimited Softball College Draft
NORMAN – Four University of Oklahoma softball players were chosen in the 2024 Athletes Unlimited Softball College Draft on Tuesday.
Tiare Jennings (No. 3), Jayda Coleman (No. 4), Kelly Maxwell (No. 9), and Kinzie Hansen were among the 15 players selected.
This ties the OU Softball record for the most draftees in a single season, matching the four picks from 2013 and increasing the total number of professional players from the program to 49.
OU alumnae Jocelyn Alo, Alex Storako, Haley Lee, and Keilani Ricketts have already signed with Athletes Unlimited for the 2024 season.
Due to NCAA regulations, the athletes selected in the draft cannot sign until the end of the 2024 collegiate season when their eligibility expires.
