BREAKING: Texas Rangers Confirms Trade For Another Top Player
The Texas Rangers announced on Thursday that they have traded right-handed reliever Shaun Anderson to the Miami Marlins in exchange for cash considerations.
Anderson, 29, made just two appearances for the Rangers after signing a minor league contract on April 18. In those two games, he allowed six hits and two runs while striking out three batters over 3 1/3 innings.
The journeyman pitcher was called up from Triple-A Round Rock on May 15 after making four starts with the Express.

The Rangers’ bullpen remains unsettled following rookie reliever Cole Winn’s poor performance against the Phillies last week, exposing the team’s limited pitching options when playing from behind. Other relievers in similar roles include Grant Anderson, Jonathan Hernández, and Yerry Rodriguez. It remains to be seen if the Rangers will make additional moves before the July 30 trade deadline.
