BREAKING NEWS: Newcastle United submit €41m for signing
Newcastle United have been closely associated with Giorgi Mamardashvili for several weeks, making multiple bids to secure the Valencia goalkeeper.
Recently, it has been suggested that Valencia owner Peter Lim has been demanding over €40 million for the player, with some Spanish media sources hinting that this demand might be unreasonable.
However, it appears Lim might achieve his desired price, as reports indicate that Newcastle has made a new offer. According to Cope journalist Perdo Morata, Newcastle United has submitted a bid of €41 million, seemingly exceeding the €40 million mark to satisfy Lim. This offer, made through agent Marian Khadour, is currently with Valencia. There’s no confirmation yet on whether it will be accepted, but it seems likely to be enough for Newcastle to secure their target.
If this bid is rejected, it might be time for Newcastle to consider alternative options.
