JUST IN: Oregon hosted another numerous prospects, including superstars
Oregon State wrapped up a successful weekend of official visits, hosting numerous prospects, including two 4-star recruits.
One of these 4-star recruits, Bryson Webber, a cornerback from Ridge Point in Missouri City, TX, made his first official visit and was highly impressed.
“It was great, definitely exceeded my expectations,” Webber said.
For Webber, the highlight of the visit was spending time with his potential future teammates.
“Definitely spending time with the players and the other recruits, seeing how they liked OSU as well,” he noted. Webber particularly enjoyed his time with true freshman cornerback Exodus Ayers and sophomore Andre Jordan, saying it felt just like being with friends back home.
Webber, who recently listed his top six schools—Oregon State, Utah, Nebraska, TCU, Kansas, and Baylor—plans to visit all of them before making his decision on the Fourth of July.
Standing 6-foot-3 and weighing 175 pounds, Webber told BeaverBlitz before his visit that he was looking forward to meeting the staff and seeing the facilities and classrooms. During his visit, he was struck by the family atmosphere on campus.
“Everyone seemed genuine, from the coaches to the players, and even the fans,” he observed.
