JUST IN: OHIO STATE LEGEND LEAVING FOR MICHIGAN
Another Ohio State staff member will be donning maize and blue this season.
On Tuesday, a source confirmed to Eleven Warriors that Erin Dunston, Ohio State’s assistant athletic director for football recruiting and events, has accepted a position as Michigan’s director of operations.
Dunston joined Ohio State in March 2021 and served as the Buckeyes’ director of on-campus recruiting. During her three years in the role, she oversaw the budget for official visits, unofficial visits, game day recruiting, and special events. Despite receiving a promotion in February, she becomes the second Ohio State staff member to move to Ann Arbor this offseason, following former running backs coach Tony Alford.
A Delaware graduate with a master’s degree in kinesiology from LSU, Dunston has previously held administrative roles at LSU, Kansas, and Purdue.
As Michigan’s director of operations, Dunston will manage the program’s planning and logistics, according to Sam Webb of The Michigan Insider. In this position, she will collaborate with the Wolverines’ director of on-campus recruiting, Kayli Johnson, and report to Scott Goldschmidt, Michigan’s new associate athletic director of operations.
