BREAKING: Top Twins superstar returns to AAA-St. Paul after suffering from shocking injury
After being sidelined for over two months due to a back injury, top Twins prospect INF Brooks Lee is now back in action with AAA-St. Paul.
During a rehab assignment in May, the 23-year-old played 10 games in the lower minors, achieving a .395/.452/.474 slash line over 38 at-bats.
Lee showed promise last year at AAA following an impressive stint with AA-Wichita.
Our Darren ‘Doogie’ Wolfson recently interviewed Lee about his recovery journey, the anticipation of his Major League debut, and his history of back issues.
Lee is capable of playing second base, shortstop, and third base, offering the Twins flexibility if they choose to promote him in July or August.
Since his return, Lee has participated in five games for St. Paul, boasting a .381 on-base percentage.
Lee was the Twins’ first-round pick in 2022, selected 8th overall.
