On Sunday, Oregon State received its first in-state commitment for the 2025 recruiting class as West Linn offensive lineman Jake Normoyle agreed to join the Beavers. Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 295 pounds, Normoyle is the fifth high school senior to commit to OSU for the upcoming class, and the second offensive lineman.
Normoyle, a three-star recruit according to multiple recruiting services, had offers from Oregon and Portland State. His father, Chad, played as an offensive lineman for Oregon in the mid-1990s.
Normoyle committed to Oregon State during an official campus visit this weekend. As a junior, he earned Class 6A all-state first-team honors as an offensive lineman.
Joining Normoyle in the 2025 Oregon State recruiting class are offensive lineman Noah Thomas from Vancouver, linebacker Jeremiah Ioane from Henderson, Nevada, running back Kourdey Glass from Hanford, California, and receiver Ellijah Washington from Oakland.
