BREAKING: Alabama LB commit confirms major decision after Georgia official visit
Luke Metz, a four-star linebacker committed to Alabama, remains steadfast in his commitment to the Crimson Tide. A 2025 prospect from Mill Creek High School in Georgia, Metz is one of several linebackers pledged to Alabama for that recruiting class.
Recently, the Georgia Bulldogs have intensified their recruitment efforts for Metz, offering him a spot in May and hosting him for an official visit over the weekend. Despite their efforts, Metz appears firm in his decision to stay with Alabama.
“After a great visit with a great team, I am still fully committed to the University of Alabama,” Metz posted on X.
Metz, who called Alabama his “dream school,” committed to the Crimson Tide in March. “I love it,” Metz said. “The history is amazing. The whole program just stands out to me. It’s a legacy.”
Standing at 6-foot-3, Metz excels at reading plays, navigating through traffic, and tackling ball carriers. He plays with intense energy and believes his athleticism and physicality are key strengths in his game.
