BREAKING: Kings pre-draft 2 talented superstar in NCAA

The Sacramento Kings hosted two-time NCAA Player of the Year Zach Edey for a pre-draft workout at their Golden 1 Center practice facility on Monday. According to a league source, Edey was joined by a group of NBA hopefuls, including Ohio State forward Jamison Battle, Baylor guard RayJ Dennis, USC guard Boogie Ellis, USF forward Jonathan Mogbo, and Indiana center Kel-el Ware. The NBA draft is scheduled for June 25-26, with the Kings holding the 13th pick in the first round and the 45th pick in the second round.

Both Edey and Ware are considered potential lottery picks, while Mogbo is expected to be a second-round selection. Edey, standing 7-foot-4 and weighing 300 pounds, posted impressive stats as a senior at Purdue, averaging 25.2 points, 12.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 2.2 blocks per game, with shooting percentages of 62.3% from the field and 71.1% from the free-throw line. Battle, a 6-7, 220-pound forward, concluded his college career at Ohio State, averaging 15.3 points and 5.2 rebounds per game with shooting percentages of 46.9% from the field and 43.3% from three-point range. Dennis, a 6-2, 180-pound point guard, finished his career at Baylor, where he averaged 13.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, 6.7 assists, and 1.4 steals per game, shooting 47.9% from the field and 32.8% from three-point range. Ellis, a 6-1, 190-pound shooting guard, played for USC after transferring from Memphis, averaging 16.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.4 steals per game, with shooting percentages of 42.7% from the field and 41.8% from three-point range on 7.2 attempts per game. Mogbo, a 6-6, 225-pound forward, averaged 14.2 points, 10.1 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.6 steals per game as a junior at USF, shooting 63.6% from the field. Ware, a 7-foot, 242-pound center, averaged 15.9 points, 9.9 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.9 blocks per game as a sophomore at Indiana, shooting 58.6% from the field and 42.5% from three-point range after transferring from Oregon.
