The 37-year-old will join the Dolphins following an impressive season with the Atlanta Falcons.
Despite being in his 16th season, he played every game of the regular season for the first time since 2019.
Campbell concluded the season with 6.5 sacks, 15 quarterback hits, 56 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, and a fumble recovery.
A former Hurricane, he will reunite with new Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Edwards, who was his defensive line coach with the Baltimore Ravens a few years ago.
The Dolphins sought to add depth to their defensive line, especially after Bradley Chubb tore his ACL late in the season.
To date, Campbell has made 244 career appearances (225 starts).
He has recorded 865 tackles, 175 tackles for loss, 254 quarterback hits, 58 passes defended, 3 interceptions, 17 forced fumbles, and 13 fumble recoveries. While age and injury concerns are factors, he could be a significant addition to a team eager to improve defensively.
