Today, Rutgers landed another shocking commitment
Rutgers Football maintains its recruiting momentum in the South.
Today, they secured another defensive commitment from three-star edge rusher Canaan Edwards from Fairburn, Georgia.

Canaan is currently rated as the 70th best edge rusher in his class and the 106th best player in Georgia. Standing at 6 foot 5 and 230 pounds, there is a strong chance he may be asked to change positions based on his size.
With Canaan’s addition, the Knights now have 27 commits, more than any other school in the nation. Rutgers’ 2025 class is currently ranked No. 10 nationally.
