Gilbert visited Louisville on May 10, USF on May 31, Georgia on June 7, and Georgia Tech on June 14. He also has a visit scheduled with NC State on September 27.

Speaking about his visit with Georgia, Gilbert highlighted, “One of the biggest highlights was getting on the board with coach Donte Williams to critique my game,” Gilbert told On3. “Another was meeting with coach Glenn Schumann to discuss their system and the players similar to me.

“Meeting coach Kirby Smart also stood out. He said he’s really high on me after seeing me compete at camp, and he believes I can play in his defense and wants me to be part of it.”
As August 10 approaches, Georgia hopes their positive impression will persuade Gilbert to join their nationally sixth-ranked 2025 recruiting class.
