During her freshman year at Ole Miss in 2024, Ma’Nia Womack, originally listed as a utility player, primarily served as a pinch runner, scoring seven runs for the Rebels. At the plate, Womack completed her debut college season with a 2-for-8 record, including a home run and 4 RBIs.
Before her college career, Womack attended Hartfield Academy in Flowood, Mississippi, where she contributed to two state championship titles in 2018 and 2021. She was highly regarded as the No. 18 prospect in the 2023 class by Extra Innings Softball.
Upon joining Auburn, Womack will reunite with two familiar faces: Auburn’s newly hired pitching coach Ryker Chason, who initially recruited her to Ole Miss, and assistant coach DJ Sanders, who was part of Ole Miss’ staff last season.
