BREAKING: Oklahoma Confirms Another Star Commitment
The Sooners secured a significant commitment that could influence another top prospect’s decision. On Wednesday, Lewisville (TX) center Sean Hutton announced his commitment to Oklahoma. Standing at 6-foot-3 and 315 pounds, Hutton initially received a preferred walk-on offer during an April visit to Norman. Following his PWO offer, he visited the campus again in early May and late June.
Hutton, a rising senior, chose Oklahoma over PWO offers from Texas and Texas A&M and a scholarship offer from Mississippi Valley State, the alma mater of NFL Hall of Famers Deacon Jones and Jerry Rice.
Hutton joins 3-star Melissa (TX) offensive lineman Owen Hollenbeck and 4-star Bridgeland (TX) tackle Ryan Fodje in Bill Bedenbaugh’s 2025 offensive line group, strengthening Brent Venables’ team, which still has several targets yet to decide.
Hutton’s commitment came as no surprise to those familiar with him. The Farmers’ star is a Sooner legacy, growing up an Oklahoma fan due to his father, an OU alumnus.
Both Hutton and 4-star 2026 tight end Ryder Mix, another recent commit, have parents who attended the university.

Beyond adding another talented and hardworking offensive lineman to the roster, Hutton’s pledge holds additional significance. He is close friends with his high school teammate, 5-star offensive tackle Michael Fasusi. In 2023, Hutton and Fasusi were teammates with former 4-star recruit and Under Armour All-American Jaydan Hardy, now a freshman safety at Oklahoma.

Hutton’s commitment occurred during another campus visit, just a week after Fasusi’s official visit to Oklahoma. With one of Fasusi’s closest friends now committed to OU’s 2025 class and his previous relationship with Bedenbaugh, the Sooners have a strong chance to land one of the nation’s top offensive linemen.
