NEWS NOW: Rutgers landed the highest-ranked commitment
On June 11, Rutgers landed the highest-ranked recruit of their rapidly growing class of 2025 with a commitment from wide receiver Michael Thomas III of Donovan Catholic (Toms River, N.J.). Thomas, who stands at 5-foot-11 and weighs 200 pounds, is the No. 170-ranked prospect in the class of 2025.

Thomas’s addition bolsters the Scarlet Knights’ roster, positioning him as the No. 17-ranked wide receiver and the No. 4-ranked prospect in New Jersey for the class of 2025.
Thomas also has a notable connection to one of the best receivers from head coach Greg Schiano’s first tenure, as he shares a long-standing relationship with former Rutgers star Mohamed Sanu.
