The University of Alabama football program is ushering in a new era with head coach Kalen DeBoer, following years of success under Nick Saban, who remains closely tied to the team. Adding to their impressive recruiting class, the Crimson Tide secured a commitment from four-star cornerback Dijon Lee. Lee announced his decision today during a live stream on 247Sports’ YouTube channel at 2:30PM ET.

Ranked as the fourth best cornerback prospect nationally, Lee cited his strong rapport with coaches and players as pivotal in choosing Alabama. He emphasized feeling immediately at home during his visits, particularly during his multi-day stay in Tuscaloosa from June 21-23.

Originally from Mission Viejo, California, Lee considered offers from other top programs like Georgia, Texas, Texas A&M, USC, and Washington before ultimately selecting Alabama. Alabama’s 2025 recruiting class, now bolstered by Lee’s commitment, currently ranks second nationally according to 247Sports Team Rankings, trailing closely behind Ohio State.
