COMMITMENT: Oregon lands vital commitment in a transfer portal
For the fourth time this week and the third time in under 24 hours, the Oregon Duck football program has secured a verbal commitment from another top recruit.
Four-star tight endDa’Saahn Brame, who seemed bound for Tennessee just 24 hours ago, announced today on 247Sports’ YouTube Channel that he’s committing to the Oregon Ducks for the 2025 recruiting class.
Brame’s final official visit was to Oregon on June 21st. He also considered Tennessee, Oklahoma, LSU, and Ole Miss after making official visits to these schools.
With Brame’s commitment, he joins four-star cornerback Brandon Finney, three-star defensive tackle Josiah Sharma, and four-star running back Jordon Davison as recent commitments to the Ducks. This brings Oregon’s total to 13 verbal commitments for the class of 2025, ranking them No. 7 in the nation with a projected score of 238.10 points.
247Sports’ Greg Biggins recently updated his scouting report on Brame, highlighting his potential as a game-changing tight end.
Brame’s parents attended Kansas State in the late 1990s. His father, Da’Von, played as a linebacker, and his mother, Nicky, was on the women’s basketball team.
247Sports ranks Brame as the No. 102 prospect overall in the 2025 class, the No. 5 tight end nationally, and the No. 4 prospect in Kansas.
