REPORT: NC State offers Top-50 in-state guard Rising Star
Kevin Keatts and the NC State Wolfpack have made a significant move in the recruitment of one of the fastest-rising guards in the 2025 class, Isaiah Denis. The combo guard from Davidson Day in Davidson, N.C., has seen his stock soar over recent months, and NC State has officially extended an offer.

Denis, who stands at 6-foot-5 and weighs 165 pounds, has jumped more than 100 spots in the 247Sports rankings, currently sitting at No. 43 overall in the 2025 class. His impressive performance on the Nike EYBL circuit with Team CP3 has attracted attention from major programs across the country. Over the past two months, Denis has received more than 15 offers from schools such as Kansas, Ohio State, Wake Forest, Florida, LSU, and Clemson.
NC State’s Interest
NC State has been eyeing Denis for some time, and both head coach Kevin Keatts and assistant coach Kareem Richardson were present to watch him play over the weekend. The Wolfpack’s offer comes after months of scouting and just before seeing him in action during the live period.

Future Visits and Development
Denis has already scheduled official visits to Pittsburgh, Michigan, and Ohio State. He last visited NC State on March 4 during their season finale against Duke.
Given the Wolfpack’s successful season, which included an ACC Tournament win and a Final Four appearance, NC State is in a strong position to attract top talent like Denis.
