BREAKING: NC State Wolfpack lands top OG target
NC State has secured a significant addition to its 2025 recruiting class as Michael Gibbs, the top interior offensive lineman target, has committed following his official visit. Hailing from Wilmington (N.C.) Hoggard, the 6-foot-4, 305-pound prospect chose the Wolfpack over a competitive field of offers.
NC State was Gibbs’ first Power 4 offer last summer, a factor that resonated deeply with him throughout his recruitment. He praised Coach Garret Tujague for his character and coaching approach, emphasizing the strong relationship they developed.
This was not an easy decision, I want to thank everyone who has helped me along the way. I am so blessed to be in this position!

Gibbs, currently excelling as Hoggard’s starting left tackle, is expected to transition to guard at NC State. His commitment underscores his growth as one of North Carolina’s top offensive linemen, ranked 23rd overall with a high three-star rating.
NC State’s early and consistent interest, along with their program and facilities, played pivotal roles in his decision-making process. Pack Pride will provide further coverage on Gibbs’ commitment soon.
