BREAKING: Four-Star Linebacker Commits To Miami Hurricanes Over FSU Football
Florida State has been making significant strides on the recruiting trail, aiming to build another top-15 class. However, they recently missed out on four-star linebacker Gavin Nix, who announced his commitment to Miami over FSU. Despite this, the Seminoles’ recruiting efforts remain strong.
Gavin Nix, a Florida native and a standout from IMG Academy, recorded 42 tackles, seven tackles for loss, and one sack during his junior season. He is ranked as the No. 88 overall prospect, the No. 11 linebacker, and the No. 15 recruit in Florida for the 2025 class according to 247Sports.
While Nix’s commitment to Miami is a notable gain for the Hurricanes, Florida State’s recruiting outlook remains promising.
