Sidwar impressed with his 6-foot-4 frame and powerful arm during Rutgers’ 7-on-7 shootout in June. He started as a sophomore for La Salle College in Wyndmoor, PA, the same high school that produced Scarlet Knight running back Samuel Brown. In his second high school season, Sidwar threw 29 touchdown passes.
The Scarlet Knights had a busy June recruiting the Class of 2025. Rutgers boasts a total of 28 commits in the class, the highest in the nation. The class is ranked 12th nationally, according to 247Sports, and includes six four-star players.
Schiano is actively pursuing the Class of 2026 as well, adding a quarterback known for his big arm.
