Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark shared her thoughts about teaming up with Angel Reese for the upcoming WNBA All-Star game this summer.

Clark and Reese will be part of ‘Team WNBA’ facing the USA Olympic team on July 20.

“I know people are going to be really excited about it, but I hope it doesn’t take away from everybody else,” Clark told reporters about their All-Star selection. “This is a huge accomplishment for everybody on Team USA and everybody on Team WNBA. They all deserve the same praise.

Clark was named to Team WNBA but isn't committed to the 3-point contest that weekend

“I don’t want it to take away from any of that and just be the focal point of All-Star weekend because that’s not fair to them.”

Though Clark has been named to the All-Star team, it is unclear how many of the All-Star Weekend events she will participate in.

“Remains to be seen, we’ll see,” Clark said when asked if she would consider participating in the 3-point competition. “I haven’t decided. … Can’t give you guys every answer today.”

In addition to the All-Star Game and the 3-point competition, there will also be a skills competition.

Clark received the highest number of votes from fans, with over 700,000 votes. Her Indiana teammate Aliyah Boston came second with over 618,000 votes. Completing the top five were A’ja Wilson and Breanna Stewart, who will play on Team USA, along with Reese.
