BREAKING: St. Louis CITY Sign another talented key man

St. Louis CITY SC has extended defender Jayden Reid’s contract through the end of 2024, with club options for 2025 and 2026. Reid, 22, originally joined the team earlier this year and impressed while playing for CITY2.

Sporting Director Lutz Pfannenstiel highlighted Reid’s impact, noting his ability to bring speed and aggression to both ends of the field, which aligns well with the team’s style of play. Reid recently made his MLS debut, starting and playing the full 90 minutes against Atlanta United, followed by another full match against the San Jose Earthquakes. St. Louis CITY SC has shown promising results, with a 1-0-1 record when Reid starts as a left back. Since joining CITY2, Reid has started 13 matches and contributed two assists from the left back position.
