BREAKING: Longhorns Confirms another 5 Star Commitments
The Texas Longhorns baseball team made a significant addition to their roster by landing Jaquae Stewart, a JUCO transfer from Northwest Florida State College. Stewart, originally from Sinton, TX, played high school baseball at Sinton HS before initially attending Houston Christian. During his time at NFSC, he posted impressive stats, including a .346/.555/.743 slash line with 15 home runs and 62 RBIs over 52 games.

This addition is part of the Longhorns’ efforts to build a strong team under new head coach Jim Schlossnagle as they prepare to enter the SEC in 2025. Stewart is expected to fill the first base role, vacated by Jared Thomas who was drafted, and bring a powerful presence to the lineup. This move, along with retaining key players and other transfer commitments, positions the Longhorns as a competitive team aiming for success in Omaha.
