BREAKIBG: Alabama Receives Shocking News As Key Recruiting Specialist Announce Departure
The Wisconsin Badgers are making a significant move in their recruiting department with a major promotion. They are set to hire Alabama Crimson Tide recruiting specialist Brandon Rose as their new assistant director of player personnel, according to Matt Zenitz from 247Sports. Rose has been with Alabama since 2021 and graduated from the school in 2022. He also has experience as an intern with the Buffalo Bills.
This offseason, the Badgers aimed to enhance their recruiting department in response to the evolving college football landscape, particularly with the increasing importance of NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) deals.
As part of this strategy, they promoted Director of Player Personnel Max Stienecker to the role of general manager (GM), where he will oversee all football-related activities while maintaining involvement in recruiting, according to head coach Luke Fickell.
There’s the #Badgers splash hire for the recruiting department. Been linked to a few names, but get their guy.

The addition of Rose is a significant boost for the recruiting department, as he will collaborate with Pat Lambert and the rest of the staff to bolster the Badgers’ recruiting efforts. Under Luke Fickell’s leadership, Wisconsin has achieved considerable success in recruiting, with their 2024 and 2025 classes ranking among the Top 25 nationally. This success lays a strong foundation for the future, making the upcoming seasons critical as younger talent takes on larger roles, positioning the Badgers to make an impact in the expanded Big Ten.
