Former Alabama standout wide receiver named head football coach at Paul W. Bryant High School
Former Alabama Crimson Tide wide receiver and kick returner has been named the new head football coach of Paul W. Bryant, the school announced on Friday morning.
Jones, who attended Minor High School, played for the Crimson Tide under Nick Saban from 2011 to 2014. During his time with Alabama, he contributed to back-to-back BCS national championships in 2012 and 2013. In 2013, he was named the SEC Special Teams Player of the Year and earned First-team All-SEC honors. Over his college career, Jones recorded 85 receptions for 1,030 yards and seven touchdowns. Additionally, he returned three punts and two kickoffs for touchdowns.

After his college career, Jones had stints with the Miami Dolphins in 2015 and 2016 and later played in the Canadian Football League from 2016 to 2019.
