Documents obtained by AL.com reveal that in July 2023, former Texas Longhorns wide receiver Agiye Hall, who had transferred to Austin after one season in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, was found with 40.3 pounds of marijuana during a trip between airports in San Francisco, California, and Orlando, Florida. Hall, who played one season under former Alabama head coach Nick Saban, was dismissed from the Texas program in December last year.

According to On3, “[Hall] pled no-contest in June. A trial was set for Monday, but was canceled after the court withheld adjudication.

The maximum sentence for the charge was three years at minimum and a 30-year maximum sentence. His bond was originally $500, but Hall’s attorneys filed a motion to reduce the amount and cited mental health as a factor, including official diagnoses of generalized anxiety disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder. The judge accepted.”
