Breaking: Highly Rated Star Confirms Commits To Tennessee
Four-star tight end has committed to Tennessee, adding to the excitement of the Volunteers’ recruiting efforts for the 2025 class. Tennessee has recently made headlines by securing the No. 1 player in the 2025 class, five-star quarterback Faizon Brandon, and now they’ve bolstered their 2026 class with Sneed’s commitment.
Hailing from midstate Tennessee, Sneed plays for Donelson Christian Academy. His brother Dayton is already with the team, entering his second year as a preferred walk-on and making notable appearances in spring games.
Ranked 174th nationally by the 247Sports Composite, Carson Sneed is the eighth-ranked tight end and the fifth-ranked player in Tennessee.

Standing at 6-6 and 235 pounds, he has received offers from top programs including Alabama, Oregon, Ohio State, LSU, Florida, Auburn, Michigan, and Texas A&M. Despite visiting Georgia, Auburn, and Alabama, Sneed decided to stay in-state and join the team he has always supported.
