DEAL DONE: Oklahoma State quarterback key man announced today

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State quarterback Alan Bowman has been named to the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award watch list, as announced today.

This award honors the top senior or upperclassman quarterback set to graduate with their class. Bowman is among 63 athletes on the list, including 12 quarterbacks from the Big 12.

Now in his seventh year of college football, Bowman had a standout 2023 season, leading the Cowboys to 10 wins and a Big 12 Championship game appearance. He averaged 247.1 passing yards per game, ranking second in the conference, and accounted for 17 total touchdowns. His average increased to 285.9 yards per game against Big 12 opponents, contributing to the seventh-highest single-season passing total in school history with 3,460 yards.

Over his career, Bowman has accumulated more than 8,800 total yards of offense and is responsible for over 50 total touchdowns.

The Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award winner will be announced on Friday, December 6, 2024, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland.
