Oh Goodbye: Running Back key man Decommits from Penn State

On Tuesday, Penn State’s 2025 recruiting class suffered a setback as running back Kiandrea Barker withdrew his commitment. Barker, a three-star prospect, had been one of the Lions’ earliest commitments, initially pledging to them in April 2023.

Originally from Arkansas and having played high school football at The Woodlands in Texas, Barker’s departure leaves Penn State with one fewer running back recruit. Despite this, the team remains strong with a national top 15 ranking and has two in-state running back recruits already committed. Best wishes to Kiandrea as he explores other schools this fall.
