The move comes just a year after Jason Spezza, alongside Kyle Dubas, left the Toronto Maple Leafs to join the Pittsburgh Penguins. Spezza will now oversee the future of the Penguins, with his performance in this role potentially offering significant promise for a roster that needs rejuvenation.
Additionally, Amanda Kessel, sister of former Maple Leaf Phil Kessel, is joining the Pittsburgh Penguins in a full-time role. She will be concluding her distinguished career in the PWHL for the 2024-25 season to take on this new position with the Penguins.
