BREAKING: 5-star cornerback confirms committed to LSU football over Miami, Ole Miss and TCU
LSU football has secured a commitment from three-star cornerback, as announced on Saturday.
Standing at 5-foot-11 and 165 pounds, Anding is ranked as the No. 39 cornerback and the No. 488 overall player in the nation by the 247Sports Composite. He attends Ruston High and is rated as the No. 13 player in Louisiana.
Anding chose LSU over Texas and Arkansas, his other two finalists, and he also received scholarship offers from Miami, Ole Miss, and TCU.
With his commitment, Anding becomes the 10th Louisiana recruit to join LSU’s 2025 class. He is the third cornerback and fifth defensive back to commit to the Tigers.
LSU’s 2025 class already includes five-star cornerback DJ Pickett, four-star cornerback Kade Phillips, four-star safety CJ Jimcoily, and three-star safety Jhase Thomas.
Following Anding’s commitment, LSU now holds pledges from eight of the top 13 players in Louisiana.
Before Anding’s commitment, LSU’s recruiting class was ranked No. 3 in the nation, trailing only Ohio State and Alabama.
