Kansas State made a significant impact on Monday by securing a commitment from five-star tight end, the No. 2 prospect in Kansas for the 2025 recruiting class. Cure chose the Wildcats over strong offers from Kansas, Oregon, and Texas A&M, and his commitment boosted Kansas State’s ranking in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings from No. 66 to No. 49.

Ranked No. 27 overall and No. 2 among tight ends in the 2025 cycle by the On3 Industry Ranking, Cure’s decision came after an emotional visit to Manhattan, Kansas. His connection to the school was solidified during a reflective moment in the stadium, where he spent time with Coach Chris Klieman, ultimately realizing that Kansas State was the right choice for him.

Cure joins an already strong 2025 recruiting class for Kansas State, which now includes 11 three-star recruits. Previously, Jefferson City (Mo.) Helias three-star offensive tackle Will Kemna was the highest-rated prospect committed to the Wildcats.
