A 4-star wide receiver receives a scholarship offer from the Buckeyes, along with more responses from top recruits at Ohio Stadium following the 52-6 victory over Akron.

 

The Buckeyes had a slow start but ultimately cruised to a 52-6 victory over Akron in their 2024 season opener, all while impressing a talented group of recruits in attendance. On Sunday morning, Bucknuts shared reactions from many of the recruits who attended the game.

Today, we have additional reactions from top prospects who were there, including one standout who earned an Ohio State scholarship offer: 2026 wide receiver Donovan Murph from Columbia (S.C.) Irmo. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound Murph arrived at Ohio State with an already impressive list of scholarship offers from schools such as South Carolina, Alabama, Clemson, Oregon, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Auburn, Miami, North Carolina, North Carolina State, and Ole Miss.
