Georgia Bulldogs’ standout offensive guard Tate Ratledge will be out for four to six weeks due to a knee and ankle injury suffered during the team’s narrow 13-12 win over the Kentucky Wildcats. Ratledge went down in the second quarter and did not return for the remainder of the game. Further evaluation revealed he sustained a sprained MCL and a high-ankle sprain. Following Tuesday’s practice, Georgia head coach Kirby Smart confirmed that Ratledge underwent successful tightrope ankle surgery on Monday. In his senior season, Ratledge’s absence leaves a significant gap, with redshirt junior Micah Morris and sophomore Monroe Freeling expected to step in. This loss is especially tough for Georgia, as they prepare to face No. 4 Alabama next.

Here’s the full schedule for the remainder of the season:

Bye @ No. 4 Alabama vs. Auburn vs. Mississippi State @ No. 1 Texas Bye vs. Florida (Jacksonville) @ No. 5 Ole Miss vs. No. 6 Tennessee vs. UMass vs. Georgia Tech
