The Penguins cut more players today, sending a slew of players down to Wilkes-Barre for the AHL training camp.

Today was the first day that waivers were in effect, but Pittsburgh did not place any veterans on the waiver wire.

The Pittsburgh Penguins have trimmed their training camp roster to 52 players, as announced by President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Kyle Dubas.

The following players have been sent to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton’s AHL training camp:

– Forwards: Raivis Ansons, Jack Beck, Atley Calvert, Mathieu De St. Phalle, Sam Houde, Gabe Klassen, Bennett MacArthur, Logan Pietila
– Defensemen: Isaac Belliveau, Scooter Brickey, Justin Lee, Mats Lindgren, Philip Waugh
– Goalie: Luke Richardson
